Notice Period Calculator
Find your last working day from your resignation date and notice period.
Your details
Employers differ. Your HR policy or offer letter usually says.
How it's calculated
Formula
- Days to serve = notice − leave adjusted − days bought out
- Last working day = day 1 of notice + days to serve − 1
Notice is counted in calendar days, which is the most common practice. Some employers count working days or exclude holidays.
If you are buying out part of your notice, use the Notice Period Buyout calculator for the cost.
This is an estimate. Your actual figures depend on your employer's salary structure and policies; check your payslip or offer letter.
